Vikings Fall Final seconds 20-18

The vikings completed their successful season on Sunday 11/9/08 against the north Rockland red Raiders.
The Vikings quickly set the tone for the game as runs by Jalen Young and Hasheim Highland positioned the Viking offense deep in Red Raider territory. Quarterback D'Wayne White ended the drive with a one yard dive into the end-zone. the Viking defense of Jordan Lewis, Luke Clifford, Keion Jones, Ryan love, Aiden Lilly and Makai Johnson helped them take a 6-0 lead into the half.
In the third quarter Jalen Young would take a pitch down the left sideline for a 31 yard touchdown and give the Vikings a 12-0 lead. The Red Raiders would mount a comeback and score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and take a 14-12 lead with under two minues left in the game. The Vikings went into a 'hurry up' offense and would use their remaining timeouts to move downfield.
Viking running back Jalen Young would take over on the drive with four runs that ended with a his 15 yard sweep around left end with under 10 seconds left in the game.
The Red raiders would have one play left and when they Red Raiders went on offense, their running back swept to the right outside, avoided Viking tacklers and sprinted 60 yards into the end-zone to give North Rockland the improbable 20-18 win.
Other Vikings who played well were Donte Williams, Tairus White-Edney, Stuart Wallace, Jarod Baron, Najee Bass, Jordan Forrest, Khairi Manns, Benjamin Peters, Liam vanderberg, Tijier Moreno, Daron Long, Billy Hollis-Ragin, Joel Cooper and Jaylin Mcghee.
