Vikings Fight Until The End
10/28/07

On Sunday the Vikings faced a tough Orangetown Patriot team and showed that they continue to get better each week.

On their opening series strong blocking by Myson Robinson(25), Ahmad Galimore(82), Tino D'Abruzzo(50), Dallas Walker(52), and Marlon Riley(19) led to a Marquez Jackson(42) 35 yard run to the ten yard line.  However the Vikings were unable to score on and turned the ball over on downs. After exchanging punts, the patriots were able to drive to the Viking 22 yard line. Strong defense by the Vikings held Orangetown out of the end zone.  raymond Miller(9) then led teh Vikings on a march downfield getting the ball to the Patriot 7 yard line. But the Vikings were again unable to put the ball in the end-zone.

The second half saw both teams battle for field position. Orangetown was able to score once in the third quarter and then once again in the fourth quarter against the Vikings.

This was another hard fought game by the Vikings and some who stood out were Joshua watts(10), Christian Brunson(74), Christian Ancrum(57), Jahkim McCain (49), Romeo Holden(27), Narenzo kershaw(17), Savariau Sheldon(20), and Anthony Beghin(64).

For the 2007 season, game articles, photos and possible video will be posted mid-week following Sunday's games. Stay tuned.
