Vikings Show Fight 9/2/07
On Sunday September 2, the Mite-MIte Vikings played at home versus the New City Rams. New City came out and quickly displayed their firepower by scoring on a running play from 50 yards on the third play of the game. New City was then able to move the ball against a stingy Viking defense in the second quarter, which led to a score. After this, Viking verterans Joshua Watts(10), Myson Robinson(25), Marquez Jackson(42), and Christian Ancrum(51) helped hold New City scoreless for the remainder of the half. New City was able to score twice more in the second half against the Vikings. Throughout the game, the Viking offense moved the ball with strong running by quarterback Raymond Miller(9) and Robinson(25). Ty'saan Towns (66), Dallas Walker(52), and Narenzo Kershaw(19) were other Vikings who played well. Congratulations to all of the first year players on completing their first NRYTL game.
