T-Bolt's Roll In Win 25-7

10/14/07

The T-Bolts were the only NRYTL team to travel this past weekend, as they faced Orangetown II  Both teams began with poor execution due to three offensive drives ending with fumbles. The t-Bolts were the first to strike thanks to a Donovan Powell patented reverse across field 40 yard touchdown run. The T-Bolt defense soon took control with the help of Justin Cox(40), Gavin harley(24), Rakim Parker(71) and Jonathan Forrest(21).
Malik Smith(34) picked up the T-Bolt offense by sprinting down the sideline before being pushed out near the goaline. Quarterback Joe Ckarke(6) then snuck in from the one on a keeper. Orangetown then responded with a touchdown of their own and the T-Bolts took a slim 13-7 lead into half.

In the second half Smith broke loose again before being pushed out near the goaline. Jonathan Forrest(21) then added a short touchdown run, increasing the lead to 19-7. Powell(9) added the final score late in the fourth quarter with a 50 yard catch from quarterback Joe Clarke(6).

T-Bolts who played well besides the mentioned were, Michael Lighten(69), Brandon Trotta(53), Sam Schwarz(60), John Tommarello(10), and Wjhante Holden(42).

For the 2007 season, game articles, photos and possible video will be posted mid-week following Sunday's games. Stay tuned.
