The T-bolts returned home this past Sunday after an impressive win the week before in Monroe-Woodbury. Playing a first year New Jersey Giant organization proved to be another challenge.

New Jersey received the kickoff and returned it to the T-bolt 45 yard line. The next play saw a Giant runner sprint up the left sideline until being pushed out of bounds at the ten. The Giants would score on this drive to take a quick 6-0 lead against the T-bolts.

The T-bolt offense took the field and began moving the ball with dives by backs Damarcus Miller and Jonathan Forrest. Despite good blocking from Jonathan Yudell, Jordan Luzzi, Tyrell Bennett, and Charlie Verni, the T-bolt drive stalled and they were forced to punt.

With momentum on their side, the Giants advanced the ball with two quick pitches to the outside. The Giants then surprised the T-bolt defense with a pass-pass play. The quarterback threw the ball to the receiver, who was behind the line of scrimmage near the left sideline. The receiver then threw the ball downfield to another open receiver.

Another T-bolt two minute drive was stalled as quarterback Tyler Fernandez and receivers Antoine Lewis and Rakim Parker attempted to move the ball by passing before the half. Due to a penalty the drive stalled. The T-bolts then botched their fourth down punt attempt which gave the Giants the ball on the T-bolt 15 yard line. The T-bolt defense responded with a stand as Tyler Fernandez, Jonathan Yudell and Nasir Shelton stopped the Giants on fourth and goal. The T-bolts went into the half down 14-0.

In the second half, The T-bolts came out determined to moved the ball downfield. Off tackle runs by Damarcus Miller advanced the football up the field. But a T-bolts fumble of the football at the Giants 27 yard line ended the drive.

The remainder of the game saw the two teams play each other evenly. The Giants played field position game by punting deep and running the clock, and the T-bolts attempting to comeback by throwing the football. Neither team entered scoring territory for the remainder of the game

Good defense on the day was lead by Jevon Taylor, Charlie Anthony, and Bryson Hayes. Other T-bolts who played well were Brandon Trotta, Jacob Flemister, Keimon Barrow, William Bloom, Ryan Gil, and Frankie Lammers.
