Ravens Continue to Roll
9/13/09

The game started with Orangetown on offense. The defensive play of Hezikiah Brown, and Mykai Joyner forced a quick three and out. On fourth down Orangetown elected to punt. The Ravens looked puzzled by the punt formation and fumbled the return but quickly safety Kobe Simpson jumped on the loose ball. The Ravens offense scored quick with a 70 yard touchdown run by Romeo Holden.

Ravens defensive end Corey Thomas stripped the Orangetown quarterback on the very next play giving the Ravens great field position. After a couple of botched plays the Ravens Jamal Dallas scored a 40 yard touchdown run on a sweep around the right end.

The Ravens defense put Orangetown in a punt situation once again but this time the Ravens were ready. Quarterback Romeo Holden then returned the punt nicely for a 25 yard return.

In the second quarter the Ravens looked to put the game away when quarterback Romeo Holden split the defense on a 40 yard run around the left end. With the Ravens going into the half with a three score lead. Orangetown added a score late in the game to end the scoring of the day.

Other Ravens who played well in this game were, Corey Thomas, Chance Kelly, Kobe Simpson, Raymond Dixon, Hassan Mabrouk, Josh Gamby, and Mykai Joyner.
