LIONS Prevail 20-0
After winning two back to back (2004-2005) Westchester Pop Warner League Jr. Pee Wee titles, the 2006 Lions were met with stiffer competition in the Rockland County League. While playing in 3 overtimes and suffering multiple close losses, the experience gained by being in 8 close games should help up to 8 returning players.
The returning starters include quarterback Tyler Fernandez, running backs Demarcus Miller, CJ Anthony, and Bryson Hayes. Anchoring the offensive line will be center Jonathan Yudell. Newcomers who will play major roles in the success of the 2007 season include Devonte Banner, Antoine Lewis, Dean Tomarelle, Danny Pistolesi, Jordan Luzzi, and Jeremiah Minyard. The success of Lion 2007 season will depend on how quickly the offensive line and defense can come together.
