Chiefs Over Monroe-Woodbury 14-0
11/4/07

On Sunday the Chiefs returned to Monroe-Woodbury to face the Crusaders for the second time this season. The first game was close until a late Chief touchown sealed a 19-6 victory. In this game the Chiefs pulled away early and stopped Monroe-Woodbury's comeback attempts.

The two teams battled for field position in the first half until Khalil "Pop" Edney (7) exploded through the Crusader defense for a 50 yard touchdown run. The Chief defense continually held the Crudaders and were led by Jose Encarnacion(17), Eric Bell(12), Mike Nazzario(69), and Edney(7). In the second quarter Jordan Frenza(1) extended the Chief lead by taking a screen pass from Edney(7) 45 yards to the end-zone.In the second half, Shayne Davidson(22) and Eric Bell carried the Chief offense with tough running that helped maintain defensive field position for the Chiefs.

Other Chiefs who perfromed well in their ninth victory of the season were Exander Rosado(2), Malik taylor(15), Nicholas Nauro(28), Anthony Basso(52) , Paul Verni(75), Ray Ganley(19) and Ryan Landrine(21).

Due to the seperation of teams NRYTL.com does not have a photo of this game. If you have photos you can e-mail them to contact@nrytl.com.
