Chiefs Run Vs North Rockland To Win 10/28/07
In most seasons, winning teams usually get better as the season progresses. On Sunday the Chiefs played a tough North Rockland team that they came back to beat 21-12 earlier this season. On Sunday the Chiefs showed how much better they have gotten with a 36-6 victory.
The Chiefs first offensive possession ended with a Khalil 'Pop' Edney(7) scramble for a touchdown and a Jordan Frenza(1) extra point. After a North Rockland punt, and Frenza(1) long run , Edney(7) passed to Rashaan Davis(9) for a 12 yard touchdwon (Frenza xp). The Chiefs defense continually gave the offense the ball throughout the day led by Eric Bell(12), Ray Ganley(19), Exander Rosado(2), Sean Windley(94) Davis(9) and Paul Verni(75). Frenza(1) added a touchdown run around end and later passed for a 12 yard touchdown to Eric Bell(12). Running back Ryan Landrine got in on the scoring with a 7 yard touchdown run in the second quarter with Cohl Saunders adding the extra point run. North Rockland was able to score on a long pass-pass play that resulted in a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
This week the Chiefs will travel to Bergen to face the Jr. Midget champions and the only team to defeat them this season.
