Broncos Rebound With Win 9/16/07
The Broncos rebounded this past weekend from a tough loss the week before with a strong performance against the North Rockland Red Raiders.
The Broncos defense held the Red Raiders offense and was led by Jarrett Haines(17) with an interception and Nashiem Hiland(42), with multiple hard hits. Late In the first quarter, the offense took advantage of its scoring opportunities when quarterback Jalen Young(15) darted to the end zone from 40 yards away. Gregory Powell(9) sealed the Bronco victory when he scored from 80 yards out on the first play of the second half. The remainder of the game was controlled by the Broncos defense while Young(15), Powell(9), Marcus Wallace(16) and Nathan Harrison(20) ran out the game clock on offense.
