Broncos Overpower 9/2/07
The Mitey-Mite Broncos began the 2007 season where they left off in 2006,in the victory column. This team has mostly first year players, and they played extremely well against a tough New City opponent. On the Broncos first offensive drive quarterback Jalen Young (15) darted around the left end for a 60 yard touchdown that was called back due to a penalty. It was the first of three Bronco scores that were called back due to penalty during the game. The Broncos continued to move the ball until Gregory Powell (9) burst up the middle for a 10 yard score. New City clamped down on defense until Young(15) began to throw passes to Marcus Wallace(16). Young(15) added a 15 yard quarterback keeper around right end along with another 60 yard scamper that was called back due to penalty. The Broncos closed out their scoring in the 4th quarter with a Powell(9) touchdown.
Players who also contributed to a strong Bronco effort included, Haitam Coughlin(10), Nigel Bailey(12), Kyree Griffin(70), Miles Harvey(42), Zachary Lyttle(18) Luke Clifford(80), and Jordan Forrest(40). Congratulations to all of the first year players on completing their first NRYTL game.
