Winter Olympics: AJ Rosen ends well but predicts changes for lugeAJ Rosen

BRITAIN'S (and former NRYTLer) Adam Rosen matched his best luge finish in a Winter Olympics and then predicted the men's event would never be the same again. read more
Rosen emerged from a competition overshadowed by the tragic death of Georgian Nodar Kumaritashvili in a training accident with a 16th place finish at the Whistler Sliding Center.
He was briefly in second place after his fourth and final run which was also his fastest at48.856 seconds but, as the third round leaders completed their final runs, he eventually slipped down the field.

Afterwards 25-year-old Rosen, who clocked an overall 3:16.016, said he believed the race would be the last of its kind in the men's sport. "From what I've heard they won't build any tracks as fast as this in the future," he said. "It was a really fast track and I don't think we will ever encounter a course like this again."

Rosen is confident he can mount another challenge in four years' time, adding: "Hopefully, with some additional funding, there's no reason why I can't be in Sochi (Russia).
