Rowe Elected to NewRo's Sports Hall of Fame

Former 1970's YTLer Daren Rowe has been elected to New Rochelle's Sports Hall of Fame. Rowe played football until the 11th grade when he concentrated solely on basketball to take advantage of his 6'7 height. After earning New York All-State Honors at New Rochelle H.S., Rowe went on to play basketball at St. Peter's College (84-87) Where he was a two time All-MAAC selection and is still ranked in rebounds, blocked shots, steals and free throws made and attempted. Daren then went on to play professionally in Europe for ten years and is currentlyan assistant Coach at
